Like a lot of Tennesseans, our family takes pleasure in the convenient proximity of the sandy Florida shores for summer vacation. While we were visiting the sunshine state, we took the opportunity to throw a small outdoor beach party. Our crew enjoyed fresh seafood, frosty cocktails, and great company. Cheery and colorful Juliska melamine dinnerware placed along a woven seagrass table runner set the perfect summer scene for our tablescape.

I scored a stunning bouquet of tropical flowers at a local grocery store to serve as the centerpiece. The atmosphere was elevated by a gorgeous garland of white balloons styled with tropical greenery by the gurus at Mingle 30a. We kept the menu simple and delicious by serving local seafood with coordinating sides. Boozy orange creamsicle pies were a fantastic finish to the meal.

Creative, custom invites and matching gift tags from the talented artists at Dogwood Hill set the tropical vibe for this gathering from the get go. We all concurred that cocktails taste even better when sipped from these cheeky “Beach Please” frosted cups we picked up from When it Rains Paper Company. Mini bottles of warm weather favorite flavors as well as our Jackson Morgan seasonal merchandise make perfect party favors for bidding friends a fond farewell at the close of your summer soiree.
