I recently hosted Friendsgiving for a few of my closest friends. Friendsgiving is the perfect time to show your friends how thankful you are for your friendship. Also, I love Friendsgiving because it is not as serious as traditional Thanksgiving with family. We had all of the classic Thanksgiving dishes, spiked with Jackson Morgan of course (recipes coming soon). I even made the turkey by myself!
Tips for Hosting Friendsgiving
- Have appetizers ready just in case the food is not ready when your guests arrive.
- Festival cocktails are a must, we mixed Jackson Morgan’s brown sugar and cinnamon with cinnamon whiskey then served the cocktail in fancy coupe glasses.
- Don’t be afraid to use a non traditional color palate for your event. I used navy and orange and loved the way it looked.
- Bar carts are not just for cocktails, I used mine as a pie bar for this event.
Cheers!
