With Thanksgiving behind us, consider the Christmas season officially here along with the start of peppermint mocha sipping season.
Celebrate the holidays by hosting a traditional Christmas dinner for dear friends and loved ones. Start with a color scheme of red and green. These traditional colors set the scene for a festive evening. I used Juliska country estate plates, Juliska flatware, Target placemats, and white linen napkins with twillies from The Preppy Stitch.
Down the center of the table, I found mini flocked Christmas trees from the grocery store and paired those with Juliska glass Christmas trees. I sprinkled fake snow around the trees for fun alternative to flowers. I added flocked wreaths to my artwork with red ribbon.
For the menu, serve up savory prime rib, truffle mac and cheese, asparagus tarts, potatoes, and dinner rolls. Advise guests to save room because a boozy peppermint brownie trifle awaits for dessert. Fun and festive Jackson Morgan Southern Cream martinis and cocktails coordinate perfectly with this Christmas cuisine.
