Spiked Hot Chocolate

Did you catch our gingerbread decorating party on The Sip last week? Add a little merriment to the mix in your mug to bring some extra joy to your world this holiday season. Start with your favorite hot chocolate recipe. Prepare as directed then simply stir in 1½ ounces of Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Peppermint Mocha. It is the only way to sip this season! Feeling especially festive? Garnish with a good old-fashioned candy cane or festive marshmallows.

Anticipating a large crowd? You may need to make more than one mug at a time. If you are hosting an event and expecting a considerable turnout, think about preparing your libations in a slow cooker to keep your quantity piping hot for multiple guests. Add spirits to the whole stock if all visitors will be age-appropriate, or make the bottle available for guests to spike their own swigs.
