Cool off from the summer heat with homemade popsicles. After washing the car, mowing the yard, or biking around the neighborhood, nothing quite hits the spot like a nice cool refreshment. Boozy Root Beer Popsicles are just what the season calls for. Start these tasty treats with a layer of root beer or your favorite summer soda, followed by a boozy milk mixture featuring our signature whiskey cream in brown sugar and cinnamon flavor. A word of advice: Make plenty of pops. One may suffice in the moment, but we think these frozen goodies will quickly become a staple in your home this season.
Ingredients:
2 Cups Root Beer, allow root beer to sit uncovered in fridge overnight
½ Cup Milk
1 Ounce Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Brown Sugar and Cinnamon
½ Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 Tablespoons Evaporated Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Directions:
Before making popsicles, allow root beer to sit uncovered in the fridge overnight to allow it to
go flat. Once root beer is flat, fill popsicle molds halfway with root beer then add popsicle sticks and freeze for 3 hours (or overnight).
Once the root beer layer of the popsicles is frozen, prepare the boozy milk layer. In a bowl, mix together milk, Jackson Morgan, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla
extract. Then fill the popsicle molds to almost the top with the milk mixture. Freeze overnight.
Enjoy!
