Fall Brunch

Here in the south, the heat has finally subsided and the once subtle signs of the seasonal transition are now showing off in full swing. There is a cool, crisp characteristic to the air, a morning dew blankets the ground and sparkles in the sunrise, the daylight is a little softer and less intense, and Mother Nature is utilizing the more neutral motif of her color palette. Fall has finally arrived! We welcomed this shift in season with a fall brunch.

Color schemes for spring and summer celebrations tend to pack more of a pigment punch with bold, bright, vibrant hues. Fall is a fun time to experiment with deeper, more moody shades. We honed in on charcoal gray and a warm wood brown as the hue heroes of our decor, alongside glimpses of gold and green.

Even a neutral-based tablescape can be taken up a notch by tossing in a variety of visual appetizers. Draw guests over to the dining area with textured placemats and wooden serving pieces that create a warm, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere. Pumpkin glassware and other pumpkin products are placed throughout the space, giving an enthusiastic nod to the new season. The dark shade of brown reflected in the chairs, plates, and artwork really grounds the dining space. A tiered tray stacked with sweets serves as the perfect centerpiece for our fall brunch.

Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in brown sugar and cinnamon is our favorite fall flavor for boozy pumpkin treats, cocktails, or even over ice. This flavor was the perfect pair for our fall brunch.
