Anytime I entertain or host guests for an event, one of my must-haves is a beverage bar. For this birthday bash, I wanted to create a backdrop behind the bar. One of my favorite tricks is to simply wrap existing artwork in plain craft paper to create a blank background where I can feature a festive banner or message. A bright balloon garland cascading over a “Happy Birthday” sign centered on the space really set the scene.
The beverage bar boasted a milkshake area including a tray, sprinkle-rimmed glasses, and a variety of toppings. A small section of the paper runner pulled double duty as it worked into the bright decor but was also positioned under the tray in case of spills. No party is complete without Jackson Morgan Southern Cream, so of course we had Jackson Morgan available in several flavors for spiking milkshakes. My monogrammed Happy Everything platter complete with party hat attachment matched the theme and finished the look of our birthday bash beverage bar.
