‘Tis the season to be thankful and our family is definitely following festive protocol as our hearts overflow with gratitude to be able to enjoy Thanksgiving in our hometown of Fayetteville, TN. We love and look forward to celebrating holidays together at our farm, and it is a very dear and special place to our family. In Tennessee, it is not unusual for it to be warm enough to celebrate Thanksgiving outside. So when the weather cooperates, who could resist that view?! The forecast calls for a family gathering at the farm! Since it is more of a rustic location, I decorated utilizing a mingling of high and low, fancy and farmhouse. I featured fall plaids, pheasant china plates, and textured placemats. The real highlight here was the For Pete’s Sake Pottery centerpiece made up of their patterned pumpkins and turkey. A mix of pottery pumpkins and real pumpkins along with mini hay bales and petite pumpkins complete the motif. Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in brown sugar and cinnamon is a favorite for celebrating the holiday.
