Food Stations

For this party, I had a bar cart as a drink station with premade Jackson Morgan cocktails on ice ready to go for when guests arrived. The whipped orange cream, salted caramel, and brown sugar and cinnamon are my top fall flavors. I also created a popcorn bar with boozy salted caramel popcorn and buttered popcorn. Candy corn, candy pumpkins, mini peanut butter cups, chocolate candies, and more were served as popcorn toppings for movie enjoying.

Movie Suggestions

We are not big scary movie fans in our family, so I opted for a black and white version of Frankenstein. A few other contenders were Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone, Charlie Brown and The Great Pumpkin, Practical Magic, and Ghostbusters.

Decor

I kept to a traditional black and white color scheme. To make the movie screen more spooky, we added giant spiders to the screen and a fog machine. I placed a few skeletons around to “enjoy” the movie as well. As with any entertaining during the fall season, I added a few pumpkins around the space. In large lanterns, I placed battery candles to help with lighting along with string lighting.
