The Nora Fleming melamine collection was exceptional for serving food outside without having to worry about pieces breaking. The loveliest South of Libbie monogram napkins held a menu card by Ruthie and Oliver Letterpress. How fun are these melamine lettuce plates? They were a Homegoods find, but I linked similar plates below. I used bamboo flatware since it was a casual occasion. I love to use place cards even for informal settings, it is a tiny detail that elevates any event.
We served simple brunch staples including tea sandwiches, mini waffles, fresh fruit, chantilly cake adorned with berries, cookies, and cheese straws. I had iced coffee ready for Jackson Morgan Southern Cream spiked drinks. I incorporated galvanized platters and trays to serve food and to coordinate with the chargers.
Stay tuned for more posts from this fun party on The Sip. If you are in Nashville on May 8th we are hosting a Mother’s Day shopping event at Draper James from 5:30-7:30 pm, bring your mama and come sip, shop, and enjoy a bloom bar with us.
