Growing up our neighbors would “ghost” each other in the weeks leading up to Halloween. A neighbor would put together a treat basket with fun goodies. I loved this idea, but living in a neighborhood with mostly young adults, I wanted to include adult treats.
In my gift basket, I picked several of my fall favorites. First and foremost a bottle of Jackson Morgan in whipped orange. Fun ghost cocktail napkins from Swoozies, Halloween candy, and orange dishtowels. My absolute favorite local candle company, Southern Firefly, has the most amazing pumpkin candle that I had to include.
Even if “ghosting” is not a thing in your neighborhood, this would be a fun hostess gift or treat for a coworker or friend.
Do you do something similar in your neighborhood for Halloween?
Cheers!
